NOVEMBER AT A GLANCE
GIRL. November is already so exciting. WHY? Okay, okay I'll tell you.
- This Friday, November 3rd, I'm going to see John Crist in DC. I've never gone to a comedy show before, but he's hilarious so I'm super excited. My friend Brooke bought our tickets a few weeks ago when she saw he was coming to DC and we both decided we had to go. Have you ever seen his stuff? If not, look him up on Youtube. The guy is absolutely hilarious.
- November 15th, I'm seeing Johnnyswim in Washington, DC! First of all, this is exciting because I haven't been to a concert in forever. Literally, such a long time. Like I think I was sixteen when I went to my last concert, and I'm twenty-three now if that puts things into perspective for you. I've always wanted to see Johnnyswim live, because they are my favorite and they look like they put on such a good show. Every one of my friends who have gone always rave about how amazing and personal they are live. I can't wait.
- During Thanksgiving break, two of my closest friends are coming to stay with me. Literally, take away all of the other things I'm excited about for this month, this is my NUMBER ONE thing I am most excited about. I'm literally counting down the days. I love, absolutely LOVE when my friends come to visit. I'm such a quality time person, so when someone comes to spend time with me or vice versa, I cherish it - especially when it's been a while since I've seen that person. I'll be doing a feature post on both of my friends, so be on the lookout for these girls!
- While Zsaia and Davia are here, we're doing a New York trip on Black Friday. Don't even get me started on New York City... it's my favorite city of all time. I have a few New York posts already in the works - but you'll just have to wait to see all of those! Some of the things I already know we'll be doing are eating (and eating, and eating, and eating) shopping, thrifting, and taking a carriage ride around Central Park. If you've never done this, you need to. It's truly magic.
What do you have on the calendar for November? Also! What places should we visit while we're in New York? I'd love to hear your recommendations.
