4-Ingredient Peanut Butter Cookies
Disclaimer: These aren't paleo. :) Womp womp. If you have a recipe for a delicious almond butter or other nut butter cookie, let me know in the comment section below! I'd love to try.
If you're looking for a more clean-eating version of this cookie, my friend Jadah over at My Leaves Are Green posted all about these almond butter cookies.
Growing up, I seriously lacked a sweet tooth. I was always craving pretzels, chips, popcorn -- anything salty. I remember we did this thing in my high school psych class to test our taste buds, and my teacher was like "You like salty foods..." and I was like "YE GIRL, tell me something I don't know." (Just kidding.) I don't know what changed, but now I crave sweets - often and intensely.
I wish I had the sort of metabolism that allowed me to eat whatever I want and not gain a single pound, but you can't always get what you want SO -- I turn to these peanut butter cookies when I want an *almost guilt-free* treat to help with my sweet tooth. It's the quickest, most simple recipe ever - like, that's an actual fact - and I promise if you love peanut butter, you will love these.
Here's all you'll need:
1 cup sugar
1 cup peanut butter
1 tbsp flour
Combine ingredients in a bowl, and bake for about 8 minutes on 350 degrees.
Before or after they go into the oven, depending on your preference, I like to sprinkle a little bit of sea-salt on top of them, as a finishing touch. These cookies are rich and so, so delicious. I hope you enjoy!
